Flies and Cluster Flies

I'm sure everybody is well acquainted with the common house fly, as every home will at some point host flies throughout the summer months. That said there are many different species of fly that reside in the UK; from Fruit fly, Bluebottle Fly, Horse fly and autumn fly to name a few. Customers can generally deal with flies on there own and the need for pest control intervention is rare, however,  businesses may need help to control flies for hygiene and customer facing purposes. One fly that will often require pest control intervention is the cluster fly. These flies lay eggs near earth worm burrows, after which the larvae feed and consume the earthworms. Cluster flies effect the human population during the winter months when they seek refuge from the cold weather. The Most common place to find cluster flies is the loft space or under cladding. These flies are usually present in force and its not uncommon to have thousands at one time.

Our Taunton technicians are well equipped to deal with cluster flies and under most circumstances, treatment is fast and effective.
