Flea Control

Everyone has at some point come into contact with fleas, they are amongst the most common pest we encounter on a daily basis. There are many types of flea but the most common that are encountered are the cat and dog flea. All Fleas are parasites that survive by feeding on the blood of their host. They are 3mm in length, therefore tricky to spot. They have legs adapted for jumping and can jump a whopping 13 inches. Fleas become a problem when they become immune to your animals regular treatment and when this happens can overrun the house in next to no time. Surviving one year without a blood feed; fleas are extremely robust and are able to survive under the harshest conditions. 

One of the most obvious signs that your house has been overrun is your pet will be itching more frequently, you may find that you are also getting jumped on and bitten throughout the night. At KO Pest Control we conduct a thorough house fumigation that would usually involve two treatments. These small parasites are not pleasant to live with, but luckily fleas are straight forward for pest controllers to treat and control.

Insecticide
