Ant Control

Every home owner knows the stress of having ants pop up in their garden or house once the summer starts. Although there are thousands of ant species around the world, the UK homes just 50 of these. Ants undergo a complete metamorphosis (egg, larva, pupa and adult). The most common ant people will encounter is the Black Garden ant which are 9mm long and can boast an impressive strength to body ratio. Nests can have up to 7000 workers and are happy living in your garden as well as your brickwork.

When treating ants it is extremely important to know what species of ant you are treating. This is because colonies with more than one queen have the potential to bud if treated wrong. Unfortunately this will result in having far more ants than you did before. Luckily KO pest control can identify the species and treat accordingly. Our treatments range from sprays, gels, powders, and are very effective (especially when treated early).
